'Laxmmi Bomb', starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, has locked its OTT release date. Disney+Hotstar on Wednesday revealed that the remake of 'Kanchana' will start streaming from November 9.
"Iss Diwali aap sabke gharon mein laxmmi hi laxmmi hogi! Aa rahe hai hum, Diwali ka sabse bada bomb le ke 9th November ko! (sic)," the OTT platform tweeted.
Directed by Raghava Lawrence, the film has Kiara Advani as the heroine. Lawrence has co-written the Hindi version with Farhad Samji. Cinematography is by Vetri.
Recently, there were rumours that Akshay Kumar and his producers had pulled out the movie from direct-to-OTT release. It turned out to be fake news.
