Lavanya Tripati says that she has an important role to play in her upcoming film ‘Inttelligent’. The film will be releasing on 9th February and has Sai Dharam Tej as its leading man. V V Vinayak has directed this movie. Lavanya talks about her film and much more….
What role do you play in the film?
I play a character called Sandhya. She is a happy go lucky person. She is back from US and helps her father in business. She is a short tempered girl and is the daughter of the hero’s boss.
Why ‘Inttelligent’?
The film is about a mind game. The hero is the intelligent one here. You will get to see how the hero trumps the villain with his intelligence.
How was it working with Sai Dharam?
He is one of the best. We both are silent so it was great working with him. Sai Dharam is a great actor and an awesome dancer. I really loved working with him.
V V Vinayak?
This director is a gem of a person. He knows what he wants and has an idea how to get good performance from his cast. He treated us like kids on the sets.
The ‘Chamak Chamak’ song must have made you happy?
It was a dream come true for me dancing for this cult song. I enjoyed every bit of it. I danced for this song like how Chiru sir's fans would have. Initially I was scared as I did not have enough practice. I definitely can't match the original, but I have given my best.
Future Projects?
I have been listening to scripts. Nothing has been finalized. Once it is done I will let you know.
