Jithender, Rakesh and Geetha Shah as the lead cast, a new film titled ‘Item’ has been taken off on December 13 at Film Nagar in Hyderabad. Sirisampada as presenter, Nagaraju Talari is producing the film under his own direction on Sirivennela Creations banner. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud graced the occasion as chief guest and played the clap boy role for the muhurat scene. The film’s presenter Raghavendra switched on the camera and actress Kavitha has directed the first shot. Later, the film unit has arranged press meet.
Speaking on the occasion, Pratani Ramakrishna Goud said, “Nagaraju has made few films earlier. He worked on the script for many days. I have listened to the script and it is very impressive. I promised Nagarju that I give my support in all ways. Not only new artists, he is introducing new technicians also. I wish all the best to the entire team of ‘Item’.”
Actress Kavitha said, “Nagaraju has chosen an amazing script and making ‘Item’ with new artists. Telugu audience are encouraging films irrespective of big or small, if the subject is good. I am playing a nice role in the film.”
Addressing the media, the film’s presenter Raghavendra said, “Director Nagaraju is carving out the film with an amazing story. I hope audience will encourage our attempt by making the film ‘Item’ a success.”
Revealing the shooting schedules, director Nagaraju Talari said, “This is my first film on my own banner. It’s a love and action entertainer blended with horror elements. The first schedule will begin on December 20 and will continue till January 15. We are planning the second schedule for March ending. Geetha Shah has acted in ‘Virus’ earlier’. She is doing another film also. ‘Item’ is her third film. Jithender and Rakesh are being introduced as heroes through this film. I am confident that ‘Item’will earn fame to me as director and producer.”
“I am from Bangalore. My dream is to become a hero. I am thankful to Nagaraju garu for having given me the opportunity to act in ‘Item’,” said hero Jithender.
Heroine Geetha Shah said, “I am happy to be part of the film ‘Item’. I am playing a challenging role.”
Hero Rakesh said, “This is my first film. There will be a message along with entertainment in ‘Item’.”
“This is my third film under the direction of Nagaraju garu. I am very happy t be working with him,” said Cameraman Ravi Baipalli.
