Tamil hero Vikram is coming as "Mallanna". The formal pooja for his new film "Mallanna" was held at Prasad Labs theatre on Monday. Interestingly, on the pooja day itself, the film's trailers and promos were released and shown to the media. Mallanna is produced by Tamil producer Kaliapuli S Thanu and directed by Susi Ganeshan. Shriya is playing female lead. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Apart from Vikram, Shriya, Kalaipuli S Thanun, Devi Sri Prasad, heroines Priyamani and new star Kaveri Jha, senior producer DVS Raju, director K Raghavendra Rao and Ramesh Prasad too attended the event and watched the promos.

Vikram

"I should specially mention about my producer Thanu at this moment. We had big launch the other day for its Tamil version in Chennai. He has arranged the same here. That is why he is called in Chennai as publicity king. He supported our director Susi Ganeshan's idea. Susi is a brilliant director. He has prepared a great script. The trailers are just unpolished version of a diamond. The real diamond is our film. I am sure that it will turn out to be Kohinoor in the end. It is also great pleasure to team up with Shriya. She is bundle of energy. I am playing various getups. One of them is a female character. When Sushi shown this face to Shriya, she was angry and asked who this other heroine is? Only when she learnt that it is me who doing such character, she felt happy."
