Ragada Audio Release

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s latest mass entertainer ‘Ragada’ is taking shape in the hands of Veeru Potla under Sri Kamakshi Enterprises banner. D Siva Prasad Reddy is the producer. The audio of this film was released at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on November 29th. Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao released the audio CDs and presented its first copy to Nagarjuna.

C Kalyan, Naga Suseela, D Siva Prasad Reddy, Naga Chaitanya, Sumanth, Sushanth, Anushka, Priyamani, Kajal, Charmi, Sarvesh Murari, S Thaman, Ali, Brahmanandam, Ramesh Prasad, etc., were a few prominent personalities who attended the audio release function.

Later while speaking Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao said, “I heard the music of this film and all 5 songs are good to listen. Producer Siva Prasad Reddy is our good family friend. He makes movies on social subjects with commitment and dedication. There are six heroes in our family, but I’m the root cause for them. Thaman’s grandfather is the main cause for my entering into films. I thank Thaman for providing such wonderful music for this film. I wish that this film will become a big hit.”

C Kalyan said, “The fans are happy to see Nagarjuna in this get-up. I wish him to do more mass films like this. My favourite film in Nagarjuna’s films is ‘Hello Brother’. I wish him for the grand success of this film.”

Naga Chaitanya while speaking, “I used to attend the shootings of my father during my childhood. But now since I’m shooting my own films I’m unable to go for his shootings. Infact, I feel sad for missing many shooting occasions of ‘Ragada’. The posters and stills are indicating that the film will become a big hit.”

Thaman said, “I’m a big fan of Thaman. While at re-recording work I used to wonder working for Nagarjuna garu’s film. The director’s taking is fantastic. I thank the producer and Nagarjuna garu for giving their support.”

Anushka said, “We had great enjoyment on the shooting sets of ‘Ragada’. The director used to tell us exactly what he had in his mind. Music is very good. I thank my director, producer and music director on this occasion.”

Priyamani said, “I gave a guest appearance in ‘King’. I was very happy when I came to know through the director that I’m going to be cast opposite Nagarjuna garu. I’m equally happy to share the screen with Anushka. I thank Thaman for providing the good music. I wish for the success of audio as well as the film.”

Veeru Potla said, “Thaman provided the music based on the theme of this film. The music is much better than what I’ve expected. We completed the film in 4 months. This being a big film there will be some pressure and tensions. But still we managed to complete it 2-3 days prior to the scheduled time. It is only because of the kind support received from our producer. I’m a big fan of Nagarjuna who saw ‘Geetanjali’ 19 times. Infact, the title of this film was taken from a song in that film. Working with Nagarjuna garu is a wonder to me. But I gave him some tensions during the making period. On this occasion I convey my apologies to him. Fights and music are excellent. This is for sure going to be a good film and I hope the audience will watch and enjoy it.”

Producer D Siva Prasad Reddy said, “My friendship with Nagarjuna garu started in 1985 and he has remained the same till today, be it his heart or his looks. I hope the fans will support in stopping the piracy. Right now I’m seeing the fans of three heroes. They are Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. Very soon Akkineni Akhil will make his grand entry into films. I hope you all will make this film a big success.”

Nagarjuna while speaking, “Thaman is the hero of this function. All songs are energetic and lively. Siva Prasad garu is like our family member. Our friendship is continuing for the past 25 years. But we are desperate to give a hit atleast now in our combination. Thus this ‘Ragada’. I’m confident that this ‘Ragada’ will do ragada ragada across Andhra Pradesh.” Before ending his speech he commented, “I’ve two sons and I’ll remain the same even if two more are born to me.”

On piracy he said, “I request the fans of all heroes to kill piracy CDs. The government is not showing interest in eradicating the piracy as much as it showed while in discussions. We are planning to take this problem to the new Chief Minister.”
