Jai Bolo Telangana Audio Release

N Shankar’s ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ had its audio launched at Ravindra Bharati Stadium in Hyderabad today. The films is produced and directed by him under Mahalakshmi Arts banner. The audio function was attented by Jagapathi Babu, N Shankar, Chakri, AVS, Allam Narayana, Mallepalli Lakshmayya, Veda Kumar, Desapathi Srinivas, Dayanand, Juloori Gauri Shankar, Janardhan Maharshi, R Vidya Sagar, Siva Reddy, Chittaranjan, Manoranjan, Sravan, Nagineedu, etc. Apart from them prominent politicians, poets and artists like R Narayana Murthy, K Chandra Sekhar Rao, Bandaru Dattatreya, Gaddar, Gorati Venkanna, Kavita, Vimala, Srinivas Gaud, Swamy Gaud, Suddala Ashok Teja, Prof Jaya Shankar, Prof Kodanda Ram, Ravi Prakash, K Srinivas, Rajender Reddy, Eetala Rajender, K Venkata Swamy, Raghu, Sailesh Reddy, etc., participated.

The audio CDs were released by Gaddar and its first copy was received by K Chandra Sekhar Rao. Later each song was launched by each guest.
Like the first song ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ was launched by Jaya Shankar, the 2nd song ‘Oka Puvvu Oka Navvu’ by Vimala, the 3rd song ‘Podustunna Poddumeedha’ by K Chandra Sekhar Rao, the 4th song ‘Najamena’ by Swamy Gaud, the 5th song ‘Garadi Chesthundru’ by Gaddar, the 6th songs ‘Ee Gayam’ by Bandaru Dattatreya and the last song ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ (the repeat version) by R Narayana Murthy.

Mallepalli Lakshmayya while speaking, “Jai Bolo Telangana is part of Telangana movement. Jagapathi Babu acted in this film despite hailing from Seemandhra and he also said ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ in the end. This movie is sure to touch the hearts of Seemandhra people and make them think to part as brothers. We all should try to dub this film in all Indian languages.”

Jagapathi Babu said, “Shankar was desperate to make this film by selling away his property. That is the main reason for my doing this film. I don’t have the feeling for caste, religion or region. As an artist I did this role. During the time of shooting the Telangana people appreciated me a lot and the students in university fed me with meals. I wish this movie will become a big success.”

Bandaru Dattatreya said, “This movie will be a shock for Justice Krishna Committee. I thought the committee would give the judgement in support of Telangana since 400 people sacrificed their lives. But I hope this movie bring succeed in getting a separate Telangana. I urge the film industry to apologise for making fun of Telangana language. I’m confident that these songs will awake Seemandhra people to give support their support for Telangana.”

Gorati Venkanna said, “I’m very happy to see Gaddar anna and KCR garu on the same stage. Shankar made this film with the concept the regions are different but people are same. All songs in this film are artistic. Jagapathi Babu proved that artists have no borders. I appreciate him for acting in this film with good common sense. I wrote a love song in this film.”

R Narayana Murthy said, “People from all regions should support this Telangana movement. I appreciate Jagapathi Babu. I wish the police and military forces will leave Telangana as soon as possible. KCR is the people’s leader. Gaddar is a great man. I request all of you to take this movement forward.”

Gaddar said, “This is not a music launching function but has turned out to be a protest against the attacks on student and people of Telangana. No one can arrest the sound and it will have history when it turns into Raaga. Telangana gave birth to make poets. All movements will become successful. I’m a street singer and sang many songs. Narayana Murthy made me write one song. But I sang very few songs for the films. Shankar asked me to sing a song for this film. On this occasion I thank Chakri. The greatness of Telangana lies in the people’s words. We poets will fight literally but KCR should take the responsibility to strengthen politically because Telangana movement is presently held amidst poets and artists only.”

KCR while speaking, “Shankar crafted the Telangana’s soul into a visual picture. Before he started this film he discussed with me about it. He said that the film’s cost would be Rs 5 crores and that he would make this film by selling away his property. That was his commitment. I appreciate Jagapathi Babu for doing this film as an artist despite getting pressure from various sides. Not all Andhra people are against Telangana and Jagapathi Babu proved it. Shankar made this film in order to take the movement forward in his field. Shankar’s direction, Chakri’s music and the people’s lyrics put together will make this a great film. The songs are excellent in this film. Shankar did his job as the son of Telangana. This movie will celebrate the silver jubilee and diamond jubilee. It is our responsibility to watch and make this film a grand success. I’m sure people will come to theaters in tractors to watch this film. I wish Shankar’s hardwork should give fruitful results. I thank the entire team and Telangana people on this occasion. And I’m very confident about the success of this film.”

Director cum producer Shankar said, “Telangana is my heart and I thank all of you for sitting in my heart. Every one here has a history. This movie is a war. This movie is not against Andhra and Rayalaseema people but it is a weapon for those who are against Telangana. There are real heroes in my film. This movie will tell that we will separate and live together. This movie will touch even the rock hearted persons. KCR, Gaddar and the students encouraged me to do this film. Artist will have true love and affection. Chakri provided excellent music. His re-recording work is outstanding. I support Narayanamurthy for comparing KCR with Karunanidhi. KCR has very good taste. Gaddar’s wish to make be a director has finally fulfilled through this film.”
