Vaadu Veedu Success Meet

Vishal and Arya starrer ‘Vaadu Veedu’ is the Telugu dubbed version of director Bala’s Tamil film ‘Avan Ivan’. G K Films Corporation banner released the Telugu version as well. A success meet was held in Cinemax where Vikram Krishna, Vishal, Arya, Bala, Madhu Shalini, Nixon and Bhaskar participated.

Vikram Krishna said, “Vaadu Veedu was released on June 17th in both languages. This movie’s collections are the highest among all films on our banner. Every artist desires to act in Bala’s film and Vishal is no exception. Arya too performed very well.”

Vishal said, “We have come up with a new conceptual film after almost 2 years. The film is getting good response in Tamil and Telugu as well. The reason for doing this film is my close friend Arya, who approached me with this project. He left the decision of choosing the role after narrating the story. Infact no hero will do that. Those who saw the film are appreciating me. I took a great risk to do this film. No one in the entire world would have done the character with squint eye. Hence I’m confident that the film will create records. This is the best film among all my films in Telugu. Some have opined me to apply for Guiness Book of World Records for the squint eye character. I thank the audience for watching the film.”

Arya said, “This is my 2nd film with Bala. I’m very happy about that. Vishal gave a mind-boggling performance. Vikram Krishna promoted the film very well. I thank my unit members for their dedication and hard work.”
R R Distribution Bhaskar said, “Openings of the film are great just like the previous films. ‘Vaadu Veedu’ collected more than the Vishal’s earlier films.”

Madhu Shalini said, “I’m lucky to get the opportunity to act in Bala’s film. Vishal worked really hard for this film. He is sure to get an award. I’m also lucky to share screen presence with Arya. The cameraman showed me very beautiful even without make-up. So far Vikram garu made all good films. I take this opportunity to thank everyone.”

Director Bala while speaking, “This movie was not made for awards. I did this film for the sake of Vishal and Arya. But I’m expecting an award for Vishal. My films are generally watched by people from all walks of life. I always shoot a film with artists in mind. One would not find stories in my films, infact no film has a story. A graveyard man filed a case on me stating that it’s his story. However I told him that my films have no stories and that it was a character only. The story will be successful only if the character is physically challenged. There are also dialogues in this film that go well with the nativity.”
