Onamaalu Audio Release

Dr Rajendra Prasad and Kalyani starrer ‘Onamalu’ which is being directed by a debutant Kranti Madhav with a tagline ‘Manchi Gnapakam Laanti Cinema’ is being made on Sunshine Cinemas banner. The audio of this film was launched on Thursday at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. The first CD was released by Ramesh Prasad, followed by the trailers launch by VV Vinayak, Trivikram Srinivas and K Atchi Reddy.

Other guests in the audio function include Rajendra Prasad, Kranti Madhav, T Prasanna Kumar, Sirivennela Seetaramayya Sastry, Chalapathy Rao, Kondavalasa, Giribabu, Koti, Khadeer Babu, Eeshwar Reddy, etc.

K Atchi Reddy said, “The title ‘Onamalu’ gives a feel of Telugu nativity. Songs are heart-touching and can be related to our lives. Seetarama Sastry’s lyrics takes us back to our old memories. ‘Sooreedu Vachchadu Choodayya’ song reminds us of our villages. When Kranti narrated the story to me, it touched my heart and that very moment I thought that this is going to be a super hit film. However, the songs and trailers have doubled my confidence levels. ‘Onamalu’ is a universal movie that would make our Telugu film industSirivennela Seetarama Sastry said, “I like Rajendra Prasad a lot. I penned the songs as per the story of this film. Khadeer, who is making his debut as ry proud.”

VV Vinayak said, “I like Rajendra Prasad’s ‘Aa Naluguru’ film a lot. I wish ‘Onamalu’ to become a bigger hit than that film.”

Rajendra Prasad said, “I became an actor after learning ‘Onamalu’ in the film school. I earned good marks as an actor from BN Reddy garu. If I’m being recognized as Rajendra Prasad with so many hits, the reason for it was N T Rama Rao garu who encouraged me to do lot of practical work apart from reading my lessons. I thank Kranti and Satyam for giving me this ‘Onamalu’ today. Regarding the songs Seeta Ramasastry garu penned excellent lyrics. He made lot of efforts by referring to many books for penning the climax song. The main soul to this film is story, songs and music. ‘Onamalu’with a good story is going to come to theaters soon.”

Director Kranti Madhav said, “It was Rajendra Prasad who corrected the drawbacks in my story. The story, songs and music are the major assets to this film. I’m very happy to have got wonderful technicians. After watching the trailers Atchi Reddy garu commented saying ‘Edarilo Oaisis Lanti Cinema Teesavu’. I felt very happy when I heard that from him. I hope the Telugu audience will watch my attempt of ‘Onamalu’.”

Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry said, “I like Rajendra Prasad a lot. I penned the songs as per the story of this film. Khadeer, who is making his debut as dialogue writer through this film will have a great future. He wrote wonderful dialogues in this film. Added to that was Kranti Madhav’s direction. One will understand what a village is, what are meant by memories and the value of mother. The youth today might not enjoy such a film but a 80 year old will recollect his childhood memories. We wouldn’t force anyone to watch this film. But I don’t consider one as human being who doesn’t want to watch this amazing film. I appreciate Kranti, Rajendra Prasad and Khadeer for coming out with one such wonderful film.”
