Malini and Co. Press Meet

Poonam Pandey's ‘Malini and Co’ releases on 28 August

‘Malini & Co’ that features Poonam Pandey and Milan in the lead roles, directed by Writer & Director Veeru, is all set for release worldwide on 28 August. On the eve of film’s release, the film unit has arranged press meet on Wednesday, i.e. on 26 August in Hyderabad. The film is produced by Mahesh Rathi under Manisha Art and Media Pvt Ltd banner. Kishore Rathi is the presenter. Samrat, Milan Rathi, Kavya Singh, Sambha and Ravi Kale have done other roles in the movie. Poonam Pandey, who made her onscreen debut with Nasha in Bollywood is now all geared up to scorch the screen in Tollywood with ‘Malini & Co’.

Speaking at the press meet, Poonam Pandey said, “You will see different Poonam in this film. My character will be in full mass angle. ‘Malini and Co’ is a commercial film with terrorism concept. The film is going to be releasing on August 28. Even though I don’t know Telugu language, I was impressed by the script and immediately decided to act in this. Director Veeru garu has supported me a lot to complete the film without making me feel uncomfortable with the language. Milan has acted well. I’m thankful to everyone who supported me.”

At the press meet, Milan said, “The film is set in the backdrop of terrorism. Many successful films like ‘Mayalodu’ and ‘Rajendrudu-Gajendrudu’ were delivered from our banner in the past. I’m sure Poonam Pandey acting will impress the youth. The film which was made as a mass commercial entertainer is releasing on August 28. I’m confident that audience will encourage us by making the film a big hit.”

Director Veeru K said, “Poonam Pandey played Vijaya Santhi style of character wonderfully. She perfectly dwelled into the character which has glamour, romance and performance. Milan did a wonderful character in the film which has only expressions to carry feelings. The story of the film is set in the backdrop of terrorism. It’s an action and romantic entertainer. This out and out commercial entertainer is releasing on August 28 and we are sure that the film will impress all sects of audience.”

Poonam Pandey, Milan, Samrat, Suman, Jackie, Ravi Kale, Jeeva, Khushi, Farah, Kavya, Samba and Chitram Basha and some others are part of the cast.
