Audio launch event of Rock Star Manchu Manoj and beautiful Pragya Jaiswal starrer ‘Gunturodu’, was held in a grand level on Sunday i.e. on January 29 in Hyderabad. Sri Vasanth has given musical scores. Sri Varun Atluri is producing the film under Claps and Whistles Entertainment banner. Directed by SK Satya the film has ‘Premalo Paddadu’ as the tag line.
Producer Varun, Manchu Manoj, Pragya Jaiswal, director Satya, Sri Vasanth, Sai Dharam Tej, Sharwanand, Surabhi, Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Mohan Babu, Gemini Kiran, Bhaskara Bhatla and Ramajogayya Sastry and some others were present at the event.
Speaking at the function, Manchu Mohan Babu said, “Dialogues and trailer suggests that the film will be very impressive. Director has designed the script excellently. Producer has invested huge amount. Manoj told me that ‘Gunturodu’ is an amazing story. I wish the film will become big hit and earn big profits to producers. I am very happy that Satyam’s grandson Sri Vasanth has given musical scores to the film. I wish ‘Gunturodu’ will become big success and I wish all the best to the entire team.”
Manchu Vishnu said, “Songs are very impressive. I wish all the best to the producer Varun and director Satya.”
Addressing the gathering, Manchu Manoj said, “My fans are asking me through social media to do regular commercial films. My father says that self-respect, dignity and satisfaction are the important qualities an actor should have. He says to enjoy the work in successes and failures. That is why I tried to choose good roles in my films. I came here to prove myself as an actor but not to become top hero. I don’t have any business. I just know how to entertain audience with my acting. I got satisfies with all my roles which I have done so far in my career and they have taken ahead. As my fans are asking since long time, I decided to do commercial films along with fresh concept films. As part of this, I am coming up with ‘Gunturodu’. I have put on some weight. I am doing a character which belongs to LTTE for the film ‘Okkadu Migiladu’. The character has different variations such as one belongs to 1990 getup, another is under sea and the other is 2017 getup. I will come up with ‘Okkadu Migiladu’ within three months. The film will show my dedication. I was very much impressed by the script narrated by Satya. I am thankful to him. Varun has kept faith on me and invested huge amount. Vasanth garu has given stupendous music. Venkat has composed powerful fights. I am thankful to each and everyone in the team. I am extremely confident that the film will impress all sects of audience.”
On this occasion, Pragya Jaiswal shared, “I am very happy to be part of this wonderful film. ‘Gunturodu’ is my first commercial entertainer. I am thankful to the director Satya garu and producer Varun garu. I was very impressed by the music given by Vasanth garu. I really missing Manoj pranks in the sets and home food. I am sure the film will impress everyone.”
Speaking at the event, director Satya explained, “Sri Vasanth has given extraordinary music. He catches director’s taste. ‘Gunturodu’ came out wonderfully. When I approached Manoj to narrate the scrip, he immediately found that it’s a fresh story. I said ‘No it’s a regular commercial film. But, if you do this film it will be new.’ He was very excited when I narrated the script. He worked from starting till the end of the film with the same excitement. He has taken due care for the good outcome of the film. Each and everyone in the team have kept their heart and soul for the good outcome. I am thankful to each and everyone in the team. Producer Varun trusted me and invested huge amount on the film. I am extremely confident that the film will become gunshot hit. I am thankful to everyone who supported me.”
Producer Varun said, “The film ‘Gunturodu’ is the first film for our banner. I was thrilled by seeing director Satya’s amazing talent. He has provided wonderful script and presented it on the screen beautifully. The story is perfectly apt to Manoj’s body language. Pragya Jaiswal has played a wonderful role. I worked with a wonderful team which includes Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh and Sampath and some others. Sri Vasanth has given extraordinary music. It’s not a simple thing to make a film. I am very happy that we have produced a wonderful film. We are planning to release the film in the first or second week of February
Sai Dharam Tej, Sharwanand, Surabhi and music director Sri Vasanth too spoke at the event and wished for the success of the film.
