Teach For Change 2015: 100 Schools Campaign Project Launched at the Government High School, Dharam Karam Road, Ameerpet. The Campaign Inaugurating by Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, MLA- Dr. J. Geeta Reddy, Actress Lakshmi Manchu, Regina Cassandra , former Miss India Shilpa.
"Teach for Change (TFC) is an initiative of Passionate Foundation headquartered at Hyderabad, India. The objective of the initiative is to improve the overall literacy standards at the Government schools. As part of this, TFC's dedicated volunteers teach Leadership and English in Government Schools at the High School Level (6th to 10th Grade)" said Organizer Chaitanya. Teach For Change 2015 will cover 11 Mandals in Hyderabad -Ameerpet, HimayathNagar,Khairtabad, Marredpally, Musherabad, Nampally ,Saidabad, Secunderabad, Shaikpet ,Tirumalgiri" he added.
Once selected the volunteers would be trained over two weekends and then they would start teaching at a Government school which is located close to them. We encourage Housewives, Professionals, Students and anyone with a passion to make a difference to apply under teach for change. Selected Volunteers would Teach every Saturday for 2 hours" he Explained about TFC campaign. About TFC
TFC was founded in 2013, and the academic year of 2014 was the pilot year for the program which covered ten schools. We are now launching Teach For Change 2015 for Hundred High schools in Hyderabad in partnership with Government of Telangana and making it one of India's Largest Educational movements. Under this, thousand volunteers would teach at Government Schools.
