Welcoming the gathering Ms. Monika Agarwal, Chairperson of the FLO said digitisation today has become very important and relevant for the success of any individual or an organisation. We are living in the age of digital world. And leaving behind our footmarks - knowingly or unknowingly. Our personal data ab about self, professional is available to the whole world in a click of the mouse. And it is available to anyone beyond boundaries. But so many times we are not aware of the passive information that is available about us on the net. We actually need to know about it, monitor and convert it to our advantage.
Internet is a ocean. With different forms of social media and platforms, yet times it is also confusing. But, we cant shy away from it. We need to stay connected, must gain firm foothold and manage to individual and professional advantage. So the earlier the understanding of it is better. It only experts like Nandini can tell us how we can master it to create a positive influence. Since time immemorial, people are always concerned about leaving a legacy behind- through their work both professional and social or through their children. But today we also need to look after the digital legacy which we are leaving behind. The easiest way to check this is - google ourselves. I did this a few days back and believe me -1 wasn't happy with the results. Hence, is this program so that we will be better equipped and do not lag behind. If you dont shape up along with the changing times you will ship out, said Ms. Monika Agarwal.
