After superhit film ‘Lakshmi’, the Venky – Bujji combo is presenting this non-stop comedy entertainer, ‘Chintakayala Ravi’ – The Software Engineer. This big budget movie mostly shot in the US by director Yogi also has ‘Om Shanti Om’ fame Vishal – Sekhar as music directors and Chandra Bose for his fine lyrics.
It’s needless to say about the success stories of Victory Venkatesh. Producers queue up for the call sheet of Venky as they are always confident of a ‘Victory’ through Venkatesh. As he ages, his glamour appears to be further fine - tuning with his capability unquestionable. This ‘down to earth hero’ contributes whole heartedly without any inhibition which is a great asset to the directors and producers together. The mass hero image through ‘Bobbili Raja’ and ‘Coolie No. 1’ later got converted into a most acceptable family hero with his carefully selected roles and impeccable performance. A body language portraying a matured and at the same time a humorous character has gained a good fan following in form of family ladies, youth, children as well as elders.
We can expect one such character in ‘Chintakayala Ravi’. The movie is all about the experiences of Indian software engineers in the US. Venky plays an aspiring Software Engineer from Andhra Pradesh who lands in the US with castle-full of dreams only to get confused in whatever the job he ventures into. This confusion makes him get distracted in his work leading to unstoppable comedy with heartful laughs. During the process he comes across two lady characters and the way he handles his life in the US is the theme.
It’s also widely noticed that all Venky’s movies have a unique class of music and cinematography which will undoubtedly be present in this movie also.
Conceived by the director Yogi, gulping crores of Bujji’s money, presence of two glamorous girls, Anushka and Mamta Mohandas dancing to the tunes of Vishal -Sekhar’s music and the lyrics of Chandra Bose, this movie ‘Chintakayala Ravi’ will be worth the money giving two and half hours of uninterrupted fun and entertainment.
The youth oriented concept also has convinced Jr NTR and Venu Thottempudi to play cameos. While NTR appeared in a dance sequence along with Venky, Venu played a small role.
As the subject is based on today’s dreams of millions of Telugu software engineers and it may be an educative stuff, it’s expected to be attracting a great number of audiences.
