Dr Malla Vijay Prasad of Welfare Creations banner who recently produced ‘Siddu From Sikkakulam’, ‘Seetaramula Kalyanam Lankalo’ and ‘Seema Tapakay’ is now coming up with a film titled ‘Facebook’. This movie is being directed by none other than the famous music director R P Patnaik. It’s a bilingual film simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil. The film features Nischal, Uday, Surya, Gemini Suresh, Archana Sharma, Nisha Shetty, Preethi, etc. The film compl,eted the shooting part and presenting in post productions.
R P Patnaik said, “We have selected the title ‘Muga Pusthagam’ in Tamil. Dr Vijay Prasad took active part in completing the film so quickly. The film depicts the advantages and disadvantages of social networking website Facebook in the present society. I hope everyone will watch and enjoy this film.”
Producer Dr Malla Vijay Prasad said, “The story that RP Patnaik narrated instantly struck me to make this film because there is a beautiful message in it. All films we have produced so far on our banner had some message in them. People trust our Welfare Creations banner, hence we wanted to produce films according to their taste and with good messages. The social networking website Facebook shows lot of impact on the youth today. Our film showcases what is Facebook, whether the friendships are good or bad and where all that would lead to. RP Patnaik crafted the movie excellently with true incidents occurring everyday on ‘Facebook’. We are making this movie in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. We have given the title ‘Muga Pusthagam’ in Tamil. Planning to release the movie in March.”
RP Patnaik thanked Ramana Murthy and Surya Rao for introducing Dr Malla Vijay Prasad to him. He said, “I thank our producer for agreeing to do this film soon after listening to my story. We started the shooting on June 27th and completed in 47 days. The story of this film will revolve around six states. I’m sure that the users in Facebook will increase six times of it after this film’s release. The viewers will also get awareness of good and bad of ‘Facebook’.”
