Malayalam and Tamil actor Prithviraj, who recently stepped into Bollywood through ‘Ayyaa’, is now planning to shift his focus on direction. Though he could not grab the eyeballs of B-town with his performance in his recent Hindi debut film ‘Ayyaa’ costarring Rani Mukherjee, the popular South actor is now keen on directing a film in Bollywood.
Prithviraj revealed his future plans saying, “I have proved my skills in Malayalam at a very young age. I recently entered into Bollywood industry (with ‘Ayyaa’) and I’ve enough time to experiment with films. Therefore I decided to direct a Hindi film now. However production is not my cup of tea. I will not take up that job anytime at any cost. I want to buy a house in Mumbai and presently on a house hunt. My wife Supriya Menon also wanted to settle down in Mumbai since she hails from this place. But don’t come to the conclusion that I would leave Malayalam industry. I want to test my luck in both the industries.”
Prithviraj is known to Telugu audience through films like ‘Police Police’, ‘Urumi’ (Urumi), ‘Matarani Mounamidhi’ (Mozhi), etc.
