Makers of Vijay’s ‘Puli’ are making preparations to release the trailer today. We all know that after Kaththi’s stupendous box-office records, Ilayathalapathy Vijay is now going to create more wonders with Chimbudevan’s film ‘Puli’. He is playing the lead role in the film which is being produced by Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar under SKT Studios banner with Chimbudevan as director. Shruthi Haasan and Hansika are playing female lead role opposite Vijay. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages with high budget and high-end technical values. The film is being brought to the Telugu audience by CJ Sobha on SVR Media Pvt. Ltd. banner.
On this occasion, SVR Media CJ Sobha said, “In the past, we have brought Vijay super hit film ‘Thuppaki’ to the Telugu audience. Those films are well received by the audience. Now, we are planning to release ‘Puli’ in over 1000 theaters with a high budget of nearly 125 crores. Vijay is playing a super hero role. It’s a mythological film. Shruthi Haasan and Hansika are playing female lead role opposite Vijay. Veteran actress Sridevi played the role of Queen Soumya Devi. We are releasing ‘Puli’ trailer at the same stage of Santhosham Film Awards festival. We are planning to release the film on September 17, in Telugu and Tamil. We hope audience will encourage our attempt.”
Vijay, Shruthi Haasan, Hansika, All India Star Sridevi, Kannada Star Sudeep, Prabhu, Tambi Ramayya, Satyan, Junior Balayya, Aadukalam Naren, Joe Malloori, Madhumitha, Anjali Devi and Gaytri along with 40 prominent artists are part of this trilingual film.
Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar are producing this film under SKT Studios banner with Chimbudevan as director.
