'Rythanna', written and directed by R Narayana Murthy, is up for a theatrical release this week. The movie will head to the theatres on August 14.
The movie is coming at a time when Murthy is speaking up against the Farm Bills brought out by the Centre. The socio-political movie was supposed to come out in March. But the second wave stalled its release.
Recently, Murthy was in the news when Gaddar's remarks were misinterpreted by several YouTube channels. "I am not broke. I have enough money. I am rich enough to sustain myself and live happily. But I have always preferred to lead a very simple lifestyle," Murthy said in a video statement.
'Rythanna' was shot during the pandemic within a short period of time.
