Recently, a Twitter handle promoting Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra used the 'KGF' tune for publicity purposes. After an audio company moved a court in Karnataka requesting action against the handle and leaders like Rahul for copyright infringement, a local court on Monday asked Twitter to suspend the Twitter handles associated with Bharat Jodo Yatra and the Congress party.
Ever since the verdict came out, Congress functionaries and supporters have been alleging that the makers of 'KGF' are pro-BJP and therefore, they are against Congress. They are asking why the makers of the Yash-starrer have not taken action against other similar copyright infringements done by thousands of social media users and are targeting only the Congress party.
Divya Spandana, who is a die-hard Congress loyalist, wrote, "Lahari Velu is looking for a BJP ticket maybe that’s why? It’s so sad when they do this. KGF songs are widely shared by EVERYONE! He has a problem only when Congress uses it."
