'Andaru Bagundali Andulo Nenundali' is the remake of the Malayalam film 'Vikruthi'. The film, produced by comedian Ali on Aliwood Entertainment, will start streaming on Aha Video from October 28.
At an event held ahead of its OTT release, veteran director SV Krishna Reddy wished Ali and others all the best. He said that he likes the title of the film and also praised the team for retelling a sensible Malayalam movie. "It has been three decades since 'Yama Leela' was made. Ali is as fresh as he was back then," Krishna Reddy added.
Producer and guest Atchi Reddy said that Ali has so far done 1200 movies. "He started out as a child artist. His production is a heart-touching movie," Reddy added.
Brahmanandam said that he and Ali had started their careers around the same time. He recalled that 'Money' was a film they both had done together. "'Yama Leela' was a landmark movie," the comedian said.
Ali said that he has got to act with Manju Bhargavi for the first time after 27 years. "Senior artists have acted in major roles. Director Kiran has done a great job," Ali added.
Rakesh Pazhidam, who has previously worked under AR Rahman, is composing the music. Instagram star Pranavi Manukonda is playing Naresh's daughter. Manju Bhargavi, Tanikella Bharani, SV Krishna Reddy, Atchi Reddy, Sana, Vivek, Siva Reddy, Saptagiri and others are part of the cast.
