'Bichagadu 2', which is a sequel to 'Bichagadu', is slated to hit the cinemas this Summer in all major South Indian languages and Hindi. The sequel is directed by actor Vijay Antony himself.
The makers are so confident about the content of their movie that they have released a video clip revealing the first four minutes. While Vijay is not seen in the footage, the video clip reveals a key plot point.
The film will have an over-ambitious villain played by Dev Gill of 'Magadheera' fame. And the element of brain transplantation is going to drive the plot. There must be a reason why the Gayatri Mantra is also heard. We see a giant python in a segment featuring the antagonist. The footage is every bit exciting!
Kavya Thapar, also unseen in the video clip, is the film's heroine. Harish Peradi, John Vijay, Radha Ravi, Mansoor Ali Khan, YG Mahendran, and Raja Krishnamoorthy have got other roles in the movie. With music by Vijay Antony himself and cinematography by Vijay Milton and Om Prakash, the film is produced by Antony's wife Fatima.
Recently, Vijay met with a road accident in Malaysia while shooting for a movie. He underwent major surgery and is now recovering fast.
