'Tegimpu', directed by H Vinoth, is set to be released in theatres for Sankranthi. Produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, it is the dubbed version of 'Thunivu' (Tamil). Its trailer was released a while ago. "No guts, no glory" is its caption.
Ajith plays a fearless and adventurous bank robber in this heist thriller. The film is said to hold some surprises in its second half.
With its music composed by Ghibran (he previously handled the stylish and suave 'Saaho'), the film has Manju Warrier in an action role. She is joined by Samuthrakani, John Kokken, Veera, Ajay and Bucks.
To be released in Telugu by Radhakrishnan Entertainments and IVY Productions in the main, its cinematography is by Nirav Shah of '2.0' fame. Milan is its art director. Vijay Velikutty is its Editor.
