The Hindi remake of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' is titled 'Shehzada'. The news is that the film's release date has been put off by a week.

The decision has been taken by producers Bhushan Kumar and Krishna Kumar of T-Series, Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts, and S Radha Krishna of Haarika & Hassine Creations in view of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' continuing its splendid BO run.
Director Rohit Dhawan has stepped into Trivikram Srinivas' shoes. Kriti Sanon is reprising Pooja Hegde. Manisha Koirala, Sachin Khedkar, Paresh Rawal and others are playing other key roles.
Recently, the film's trailer was released and it seems most of the scenes have been trained from the Trivikram-directed Telugu original. The songs and their flavour, however, are different in the remake.
