'Demonte Colony 2' is hitting the cinemas in Telugu on August 23. Mythri Movie Distribution's Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are releasing it in Nizam. Arulnithi is playing a dual role, while Priya Bhavani Shankar too has a lead role. Anthi Jaskelainen, Sering Dorjee, Arun Pandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govind Rajan, Sarjano Khalid, and Archana Ravichandran are part of the cast.

Ahead of the film's release, producer B Suresh Reddy hosted an event in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated director Ajay Gnanamuthu's vision, adding that the Tamil original is a hit already. He added that the Telugu version is coming out amid much anticipation.

Producer Bekkem Venugopal lauded the film for being a product of the collective effort of a talented cast and crew. "It’s a film that will make audiences want to visit the theaters. It was a major hit in Tamil, and I hope the Telugu audience will support it as well," he added.

Shashi, who leads the show at Mythri Movie Distribution, highlighted the film's merits. He also spoke of the encouraging response the horror thriller received after Tuesday's early premiere show in Hyderabad.

Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has a full-fledged role in the movie. As someone who selflessly fights to break the Demonte evil game, she plays an author-backed role. Recently seen in 'Indian 2', Priya said that the response from the Telugu audience after the early premiere was very encouraging.

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu spoke of the film's journey, including its pre-release theatrical deals. "Producer Suresh Reddy approached us from Telugu to buy the theatrical release rights. He trusted our vision so much that he bought the rights without watching the movie," the director said, adding that he is planning to do 'Demonte Colony 3' and Part 4 as well.

Director Ram Gopal Varma said, "I am confident that producer Suresh Reddy will continue to make good films. These days, content-driven small films are becoming successful at a time when big films are struggling to make a mark." RGV spoke of his 'Bhooth' experience on the occasion.
