'Sitaare Zameen Par' is the title of Aamir Khan's Christmas release. Aamir Khan Productions' original plan was to release the sports drama film on December 25 this year.
As per the latest buzz in Bollywood media, the film has been indefinitely postponed.
If true, 'Baby John' (Hindi) will stand to benefit at the Hindi box office. 'Baby John', starring Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh, is the remake of Tamil movie 'Theri'. This one, too, is scheduled to be a December 25th release.
'Sitaare Zameen Par' stars Genelia Deshmukh of 'Bommarillu' fame in another leading role. Shot in Vadodara, New Delhi and other locations, this RS Prasanna directorial will reportedly deal with a character suffering from Down Syndrome. The 'Laal Singh Chaddha' actor is counting big-time on the movie. With its postponement, his long-awaited comeback has been delayed.
