Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti's 'Sarangapani Jathakam' is fast finishing its post-production works. The film will head to theatres on December 20.
'Sanchari Sanchari', the latest song from the movie, is sung by Sanjith Hegde. Ramajogayya Sastry (lyricist) and Vivek Sagar (music director) have joined hands to give shape to director Indraganti's vision.
The breakup anthem was recently preceded by the release of 'Sarango Saranga', a song whose beats were a contrast to this one. Vennela Kishore and Roopa Koduvayur are also seen prominently in the song.
The film is a comedy. Partly a social satire, the film also has farcical elements, as per Indraganti. There is also a screwball element but the nature of comedy is old-school in a refreshing way.
Also starring VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala and Vadlamani Srinivas, the film's Teaser was released recently. The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. Sivannarayana, Ashok Kumar, Raja Chembolu, Pradeep Rudra, Kalpalatha, and Roopa Lakshmi are playing different roles in 'Sarangapani Jathakam'. The stunts are by the Venkat-Venkatesh duo. Raveender of 'Radhe Shyam' fame is the production designer.
