Director Parasuram Petla's 'Family Star', led by Vijay Deverakonda, will be released in theatres on April 5. The date was announced today after it became evident that Jr NTR's 'Devara' won't be released on that date. Producer Dil Raju recently hinted at the release date.
Today's announcement came with a poster. "We are hereby unveiling a poster featuring the hero running while dressed in a lungi, carrying a gunny bag on his shoulder, and holding an Aadhar card in his mouth, portraying the everyday struggles of a middle-class husband," the makers said.
The film, produced by Dil Raju and Shirish, will head to the theatres on a grand scale. Gopi Sundar (music), KU Mohanan (cinematography), AS Prakash (art), and Marthand K Venkatesh (editing) are working on the movie. It is expected to have a release in Tamil, too.
