The actor who has essayed the effective cameo as Lord Krishna in 'Kalki 2898 AD' is from Tamil Nadu. He is Krishnakumar. While Krishnakumar brought the character to life physically, his voice in the film is provided by Arjun Das, another Tamil actor known for his striking baritone.

Krishnakumar's background extends beyond acting. He has experience in lighting design and also action choreography. He recently expressed his excitement via social media, calling his involvement in 'Kalki' as the manifestation of a long-awaited dream.

It was rumoured that Sr NTR is the one who will be seen as an AI-modified Lord Krishna in the Prabhas-headlined movie. Nag Ashwin did the right thing by choosing a small-time artist for the role. It was a smart choice to pick someone from a non-Telugu background.

The film is claimed to have grossed Rs 190 Cr on Day 1 at the worldwide box-office.
