'Hit List' is the title of an up-and-coming action film directed by Soorya Kathir Kakkallar and K Karthikeyan. The film is originally produced by KS Ravikumar under the banner RK Celluloids. It stars Vijay Kanishka (son of veteran Kollywood filmmaker Vikraman), R Sarathkumar and Gautham Vasudev Menon in the main roles. Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat and Munishkanth will be seen in supporting roles.
The film's trailer was released today. 'Hit List' is slated to hit the cinemas on May 31.
The Telugu version's release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be done by Sri Srinivasa Screens, Sri Srinivasa Infra and Bekkem Productions. Speaking at the Trailer launch event today, they said that they are glad to be releasing the movie. They thanked Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad and veteran actor Murali Mohan for gracing the occasion. They also thanked KS Ravi Kumar for the Telugu rights.
Actor Vijay Kanishka said that he loves Telugu movies a great deal. He is a half-Telugu, given his mother is from Andhra Pradesh. He extended his sincere thanks to the entire team, especially the helmers. "My father has made noted films in both Telugu and Tamil in the past. 'Vasantham' with Victory Venkatesh garu was his first Telugu movie. I hope this industry embraces me," he added.
Producer KS Ravikumar said that he was glad to be launching Vijay as a hero. He said that his association with Tollywood has been strong, thanks to his films with big stars here.
Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad thanked KS Ravikumar for hosting him. He also wished hero Vijay the best.
With music by C Sathya, the film is edited by John Abraham. K Ram Charan is the cinematographer. S Devaraj has penned the story. Aishwarya Datta, Abhi Nakshatram and Ramachandra Raju of 'KGF' fame will also be seen in different roles.
