Suhas has had enough flops since 'Colour Photo'. His rise to the next league has been thoroughly halted by back-to-back duds, culminating in the recent 'Janaka Aithe Ganaka'.
How can Suhas turn the corner? The short answer is, it's not in his hands.
Often, analysts attribute the failures of actors to their poor script selection. However, they overlook the limited options available to actors. Sudheer Babu didn't do 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' because that project didn't come his way. Only duds like 'Harom Hara' came his way and he did them. Gopichand didn't do 'Dhamaka' because only 'Viswam' and 'Ramabanam' came his way. What else could he have done? Sit at home?
Likewise, Suhas didn't get to do 'Committee Kurrollu' or '35-Chinna Kaadu'. Which is why he had to do stupid films like 'Prasanna Vadanam'.
The blame entirely lies with our filmmakers, who fail to utilize the talents of actors like Suhas, Thiruveer, or Satyadev Kancharana. Our actors choose scripts they think would work best for them. And if such films turn out to be disasters, imagine how worse the scripts they reject must be.
