Dance Ikon Season 2 - Wild Fire is set to premiere on Aha Video from February 14. Host Ohmkar has joined forces with Jathi Ratnalu fame actress Faria Abdullah as well as star Tollywood choreographer Sekhar Master for the reality show. Singers Jaanu, Prakriti, Maanas, and Deepika have come together as mentors.
On Saturday, the core team of the show spoke about their endeavour. Ohmkar said that he is extremely pleased to have Faria as a co-host. He added that the viewers can expect loads of dance-based fun.
The hosts spoke briefly about what to expect from their show. "The performances by our five contestants, including their Panchabhuta act, will leave you in awe. Special mention to the two children – their performances will be the talk of the town," Ohmkar said.
Faria Abdullah said that she had missed out on the first season of the reality show due to other commitments. Saying that the five contestants and four mentors are gonna set the stage on fire, she assured the viewers of wholesome entertainment.
Sekhar Master said that he is extremely pleased to be a judge. "The Panchabhuta concept in this season is a beautiful representation of the show’s theme, and the performances from our five contestants will be nothing short of spectacular," the choreographer said.
Mentor Yash Master said, "This season has been designed in a fresh and exciting way that will captivate every viewer."
Mentor Maanas said, "I am passionate about dancing. The upcoming season will be more successful than the first one. It is filled with thrills and suspense. Right from the first episode, you are gonna have a blast."
Singer Jaanu spoke of her relationship with folk songs. She is grateful for the show for providing her the platform to be a mentor.
Mentor Prakriti, who was previously selected as Femina Miss Telangana, said that modelling and mentoring are two different ballgames. She hopes to make a difference at Dance Ikon 2 - Wild Fire.
