Naa Peru Surya, starring Allu Arjun in the lead, was released in theatres in 2018. The action film, written and directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, has always been seen as a loss venture by many.
Its producer Lagadapati Sridhar, however, has mad a shocking revelation. In his latest interview, Sridhar said that the film made profits. "Bunny knew that my previous films had made losses. He ensured that I made profits from Naa Peru Surya. Whatever losses I had made because of my previous movies were recovered through this film. Distributors, too, attained breakeven," Sridhar said.
Sridhar also revealed that Naga Babu made some profits without making any investments. That's because Allu Arjun wanted to help out Naga Babu.
Allu Arjun's most recent movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule, will stream on OTT from the last week of January. Netflix will announce its streaming date soon.
