Aditya Om, who acted as a hero in the successful films like ‘Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo’, ‘Dhanalakshmi I Love You’, ‘Mee Intiki Vasthe Em Istharu…Maa Intiki Vasthe Em Testharu’ and ‘Bhama Kalapam’, has now turned into director and is now coming out with the film titled ‘Friend Request’ which is being made under his own production. The film is being made under Modern Cinema banner with RRP Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and Bamla Enterprises as presenters. The film features Seetal Singh, Achint Kaur, Sagarika Chhetri, Jal Chitra, Saida Jools, Manisha Kelkar, Richa Soni, Anusha Goutham, Prakash Sudarsan, Nithish Choudhary, Rohith and Pankaj in the key roles. It is made in Hindi as ‘Fun Freaked Facebook’ and is going to appear on Telugu screens as ‘Friend Request’. After wrapping up the first schedule in Pune, the film unit will come to Hyderabad to start second schedule from 18th of August. The film unit held press meet to update the film details.
Director Aditya Om informed the press, “I have acted in many films in Telugu. Telugu audience received me well in spite of the films’ hit or flop. I have acted in ‘Kshudra’ and ‘Bandook’ in Hindi. ‘Bandook’ is going to be releasing in Telugu as well. The story of ‘Friend Request’ is based on the social media. I believe that the Telugu audience will show their same love and affection towards me like they did for my earlier films.”
Saida Jools said, “’Friend Request’ is my first film. I’m very excited to work under the direction of Aditya in this youth and adventure movie.”
Sagarika Chatri expressed, “After winning Pond’s Femina Miss India Kolkata 2013 title, I did modeling for many Ads. I am very happy to act in this bilingual film under the direction of Aditya. I hope that the film will impress everyone.”
Anooshiya Goutham said, “I’m very happy that my first film is a bilingual.”
Prakash Sudarshan said, “I would like to make a film in Telugu. I’m happy that my dream came true because of Aditya. So far I have done many films in Hindi and Tamil. I’m happy to make a film in Telugu.”
Nithish Choudhary said, “I’m very excited to work with Aditya. It’s a youthful adventurous film.”
Production manager P Vijay varma said, “We start shooting from 18th of August that will take place at Shankarpally, Keesaragutta and Aluminum factory in Hyderabad and in and around Vizag and the schedule is for 20 days.”
