Title for the Telugu remake of Hindi romantic blockbuster film ‘Aashiqui 2’ has been confirmed as ‘Nee Jathaga Nenundali’. Bandla Ganesh is remaking this film in Telugu under his banner Parameshwara Art Productions with Sivababu Bandla as its presenter. ‘Mounamelanoyee’ and Orey Pandu’ fame Sachin is playing the lead role. ‘Bumper Offer’ fame K Ravindra is the director.
Hero Sachin said, “Nee Jathaga Nenundali title is 100% suitable to this musical love story film. Director Ravindra is doing a wonderful job. My characterization is very interesting. I’m sure the Telugu audio will be a big hit on par with Hindi songs.”
Producer Bandla Ganesh said, “We thought of several titles and finally selected the line ‘Nee Jathaga Nenundali….’ from the song in Ram Charan’s ‘Yevadu’ film. Shooting is almost complete. There will be a 10 day shooting schedule from June 14 in Poland, with which the entire shooting part will be completed.”
Director Ravindra said, “Aashiqui 2 is my most favourite film. I’m very happy to do the remake in Telugu. The output is coming out well. Sachin is doing 100 percent justice to his role and so as heroine Nazia. I’m confident that ‘Nee Jathaga Nenundali’ will turn out to be a feel good musical love story film.”
Other star cast in the film is Rao Ramesh, Sashank, Kasi Vishwanath, Prithvi, Ravi Varma, Anitha Chowdary, etc.
