Beautiful Jayanthi is a notable anchor with her TV show ‘Vennela’. The belle, who bagged craze in small screen, has made her silver screen debut through the film ‘Lachchi’. Apart from acting as female lead, she is producing this film under J9 4shows. The makers are introducing a new genre in horror-comedy through this film. Eshwar is being introduced as director. Meanwhile, the film has completed the shooting part and the makers are planning to release the film in the first week of September.
Informing the news, heroine and producer Jayanthi said, “With the experience that I gained from producing several programs in TV, I have forayed into film industry. I was very much impressed by the script and it made me to act as a lead. We have seen so many horror comedy films so far. But, ‘Lachchi’ will give fresh feel to audience. ‘Lachchi’ which has a distinct story and screenplay, will impress everyone for sure. Entire film revolves around the character ‘Lachchi’. The twists and turns in the film will thrill the audience. Prominent comedians have acted in the film and they will leave audience in splits with their comedy. I am very happy to be working with Legend cameraman MV Raghu garu. He has taken the film to the next level. Maruduri Raja garu has penned dialogues for this film. After completing all formalities, we are planning to release the film in a grand level in the first week of September. I wish and hope that audience will encourage us by making the film a big success.”
Tejaswini, who played another female lead in the film, said, “I am making my debut through ‘Lachchi’. Director Eshwar has carved out each and every character in the film wonderfully. I am playing a major role.”
