Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara banner is known for bringing consecutive successful films in Telugu. Noe, the banner has acquired rights to bringing yet another thriller film amidst heavy competition. Recently released Tamil thriller film ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D-16)’ has become sensational hit and it is being brought to Telugu audience as ’16-Every Detail Counts’. The film unit has now launched the first look and planning to release the film in March.
Briefing about the film’s details, producer Chadalawada Padmavati said, “The film ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D-16)’ which was released recently in Tamil has become sensational hit and still running successfully. We are bringing the film to Telugu audience as ’16-Every Detail Counts’. The film which was made as a suspense thriller in high standard on par with Hollywood range has got critical acclaims. The film is still running successfully with superb collections. Actually, many prominent producers and heroes of Tollywood have tried to acquire Telugu remake rights of the film by spending huge amount. We have bagged the rights by offering fancy rate amidst heavy competition. Debutant director Karthick Naren has moulded the film. Rahman played the lead role. Singer and music composer Hemachandra, who lent his voice to Aravind Swamy in ‘Dhruva’, is dubbing for the lead character in the film. Sujith’s cinematography and Jakes Bejoy’s music and background score will stand out as highlights for the film. The film will have all elements for sure which Telugu audience will look for. The thriller elements will give a fresh experience. We are planning to wrap up dubbing works soon and release the film in March.”
