Actress Poorna's film with writer-director Karri Balaji, titled 'Back Door', has wrapped up its shoot. The Nandi Award-winning filmmaker has cast the 'Avunu' actress in a novel role in the soon-to-be-released thriller.
Produced by B Srinivas Reddy, the film has Teja Tripurana in a key role. Shot in Hyderabad, Film Nagar's Dubai House, among others, this one is about the consequences faced by a woman who enters into an extra-marital affair with a man who is younger than her. "Poorna's performance will be a major highlight," the director said. The producer is of the view that the technical output is as good as the artistic output. Poorna feels that Karri Balaji is the best director she has worked with. "He explains each scene with a lot of clarity. I hope we all get a good name and the producer makes lots of money," Poorna said.
