'Manasanamaha', the acclaimed short film directed by Deepak Reddy and starring Viraj Ashwin, Drishika Chander, SriValli Raghavender, and Prithvi Sharma, has entered the Guinness Book of World Records. The recognition is because it is the most-awarded short film ever. The film has so far won 900 national and international awards.
Director Deepak has dedicated the Guinness recognition to Prabhas, whom he describes as his idol. He also thanked music director SS Thaman, actress Anushka Shetty, director Sukumar, among others, for supporting his short film in different ways.
The short film has earlier been conferred with the Best Short Film award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. Streaming on UV Creations' YouTube channel, it was screened at various film festivals and received many accolades as well as being Oscar(Academy)-qualified and BAFTA-qualified.
With music by Syed Kamran, its cinematography is by Edurolu Raju.
