In one of the scenes in last year's 'Adipurush', Lord Hanuman uses street language to warn Ravana's son. The dialogue stoked a huge controversy and was trolled heavily across social media platforms.
Months after the movie's release, a Hindi artist named Vindu Dara Singh has revealed that director Om Raut was cautioned against using inappropriate language for divine characters in the epic 3D mythological drama. The 'Tanhaji' director, however, didn't listen to the objections and went ahead with his goof-ups.
Speaking to a media house, Vindu Dara Singh said, “It was shocking to see how such a talented director and producer could make a mistake like this. If they wanted to pass on the buck to the kids, they should have at least shown the right things. The film was a mess, a huge mistake. I didn’t expect it.”
The film, starring Prabhas as Lord Rama and Kriti Sanon as Sita, was released in June last year.
