'Adipurush' will head to the theatres on June 16. The epic mythological drama is now in the news over unexpected comments made by its Editor, Ashish Mhatre.
As per national media reports, the Editor has ruled out any substantial changes to the film's VFX as originally made under the aegis of director Om Raut. After the film's teaser was released in October last year, it was panned by one and all. A month later, its release date was postponed from Sankranthi 2023 to June.
Since the makers bought six months' time, it has been presumed that the film has been upgraded to the next level by the makers. But if the Editor's comments are anything to go by, the director and his team believe they have done no mistake.
One wonders why Bhushan Kumar of T-Series had to postpone the movie's release in that case. Could it be that the Editor didn't want to sound defensive and therefore made the unexpected remarks?
