Vijay Deverakonda has stated in his interview that he will no longer work with debutant directors. "They need to be at least one film old and I will work with them if that film is even a flop," VD said.
Directors who have delivered flops with their debut movies usually have no future. What is VD's justification for working with them? He makes it conditional. "Your first film just gets you into the groove. It's like a practice match. I need my directors to be fully ready to exploit my talent. I see the director's edit sense, music sense and visual story-telling. Even if their film is a flop, I will be happy to team up with them if their craft satisfies me," the 'Arjun Reddy' actor said.
'Family Star' is going to head to theatres on April 5 in Telugu and Tamil.
