It is known that 'Family Star', starring Vijay Deverakonda as the male lead, won't be a Sankranthi 2024 release. The film has indefinitely been postponed by producer Dil Raju.
As per the latest buzz in the industry, the film might hit the cinemas on March 8. If that happens, the actor-director combo of 'Liger' will be at loggerheads with each other at the box office. 'Double iSmart', directed by Puri Jagannadh, is slated to hit the cinemas on the same day. If the fight between the hero and director of 'Liger' happens on 8 March 2024, it will be interesting to see who is going to have the last laugh.
The clash between 'Family Star' and 'Double iSmart' will be interesting from another angle. Director Parasuram Petla of 'Family Star' is related to Puri Jagannadh. Director Parasuram’s father and Puri’s father are cousins.
In all likelihood, the clash will be averted through mutual negotiations.
