After 'Geetha Govindam', director Parasuram firmed up a project with Naga Chaitanya as the hero. The pandemic came and, all of a sudden, Mahesh Babu's film was announced. In other words, Parasuram abandoned the 'Bangarraju' actor and made 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' with Mahesh.
