The teaser of the upcoming romantic comedy, 'Drinker Sai', was released in the presence of commoners. Instead of the routine practice of involving celebrities, the makers invited members belonging to the working class to do the honours.

The film, starring Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma in leading roles, tries to be a character-based rom-com with bold lines and situations. Coming with the caption 'Brand of Bad Boys', it is produced by Basavaraju Srinivas, Ismail Sheikh, and Basavaraju Laharidhar. Director Kiran Tirumalasetti explained the title. Sai is a common name in the Telugu States. And since the lead character is an addicted drinker, the film has been named 'Drinker Sai'.

The situations narrated in 'Drinker Sai' are based on "true incidents". Producer Ismail Sheikh said that the movie is worthy of being watched on the silver screen and not on OTT, adding that it is a heart-touching story. Producer Basavaraju Laharidhar said that the teaser doesn't reveal the multiple dimensions of the story of 'Drinker Sai'. He added that, although it's a commercial outing, its content will make a "lasting impact" on the viewer.

Actress Aishwarya Sharma, on her part, described the movie as an "engaging love story" in which there is a "beautiful love story".

Actor Amberpeta Shankar said that he has previously declined offers from the likes of Ram Gopal Varma. "I agreed to act in 'Drinker Sai' only after my younger brother Dharma and producer Basavaraju Srinivas personally requested me. This film will entertain you and deliver a meaningful message," he added.

Actress Kirrak Seetha said that the film is layered and that its content shouldn't be judged based on just the Teaser.

Actor Dharma thanked his parents for all their support. "Based on the Teaser, don’t assume it’s a film that misguides youth. It’s a heartfelt love story with many elements you will enjoy," the hero added.
