Chhaava: Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika praise AR Rahman's Jaane Tu

The Bollywood film Chhaava is going to head to theatres on February 14. Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna were today in Hyderabad for a song release event.

Speaking on the occasion, Vicky Kaushal said that he trained in "battle tactics and horse riding" for the challenging role in the multilingual release. Essaying Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was Herculean, he suggested, as it involved mental preparation as well. "It’s an honor to tell the story of a real-life warrior. I thank Dinesh Vijan for producing this great film. AR Rahman’s music has elevated the film to new heights," the versatile actor said.

Rashmika Mandanna, who recently had a fall, arrived at the venue on a wheelchair. The pan-Indian actress said that there is something indescribable about Chhaava. The Pushpa actress stated that she has experienced a "sense of divinity, endless love" with regards to the film. "I find myself crying every time I watch it because it’s so moving. AR Rahman’s music, especially the song ‘Jaane Tu’, is mesmerizing," she added.

Jaane Tu, released today, is rendered by Arijit Singh. The song has lyrics written by Irshad Kamil.

Chhaava also features Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, Diana Penty, and Santosh Juvekar. It is directed by Laxman Utekar.
