Mad Square is up for a grand theatrical release on March 28th. If the success of the film's Teaser is any indication, the comedy entertainer is going to make a splash at the box office. Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the movie's background score has been done by Thaman. The songs have been composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
In a chit-chat with the media today, actors Sangeeth Sobhan, Narne Nithiin and Ram Nithiin have talked about the movie.
Sangeeth Sobhan said:
The main hero of this film is entertainment itself. It is the comedy that drives this film forward. The success of MAD gave us the confidence to have fun while making the sequel. This film has been made with a singular focus on entertainment value.
We have told the audience what to expect from our movie. It’s always good to let the audience know what kind of movie they are watching. Since this is a comedy film, we wanted to set the right expectations so people come to the theaters ready to have a great time laughing.
The success of MAD was purely because of its comedy factor. We are fully aware of the strengths of the movie. Therefore, MAD Square has been made as an unapologetic entertainer.
The dose of comedy in this movie will feel totally fresh. This is not just for youths but also for the family audience. MAD Square is designed as a clean comedy film.
The wedding episode is going to be a major highlight. Laddu’s character will be even funnier than in the first part.
Narne Nithin said:
In MAD Square, every character had its own track. My character started off as a bit serious but turned lighter-veined towards the end. However, in the sequel, I play a full-fledged comedy role. I changed my style to suit the character.
This is not a Baahubali where you go expecting a strong story and plot. This film is purely meant to make people laugh. That’s why producer Naga Vamsi sir said not to expect logic. This is all about magic.
Since this is a continuation of the first part, the female characters seen in MAD still exist in our lives, but they won’t be seen on the screen.
Jr NTR garu has been giving me advice since my first film, and I have been shaping myself accordingly. I will continue to seek his guidance in the future as well.

This film is a very special movie for us. I feel that its uniqueness should remain exclusive. Compared to the first edition, MAD Square has even more comedy quotient.

Naga Vamsi Sir played a pivotal role in this project. His constant focus on cinema is evident in everything he does. The fact that he noticed me in a web series and believed I would be ideal for the role highlights his attention to every detail. He has immense trust in his director and actors, offering them complete creative freedom.
