'The Raja Saab', starring Prabhas in the lead, is up for a grand theatrical release on April 10, 2025. People Media Factory made the release date official today.
In a video titled 'Fan India Glimpse' (a wordplay on the much-used term 'pan-India'), we see the 'Salaar' and 'Kalki 2898 AD' actor flattering himself by looking at his face in the mirror. He is impressed.
The video ends with a proper self-identification of the film's genre: Horror romantic comedy (although romantic horror-comedy might have been the better way to describe it).
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and with tunes set by SS Thaman, the Maruthi directorial promises to reintroduce the "Majestic Vintage Vibe of Darling Prabhas".
Karthik Palani and Rajeevan have done the cinematography and production design, respectively. The Ram-Laxman duo and King Solomon are the fight masters. Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao has edited 'The Raja Saab', while Vivek Kuchibhotla is its co-producer.
Prabhas' 'The Raja Saab' is the biggest movie in director Maruthi's career. The 'Fan India Glimpse' is a cool intro to the multi-lingual release.
