'Pushpa: The Rule' is now a December 5th worldwide release. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are going to ensure a colossal release across languages.
On Thursday, the makers boldly revealed the amount of money the film has made from non-theatrical revenue streams. It is a whopping Rs 420 CR, which is more than what any other Indian movie has ever made!
The total pre-release revenue from all sources (both theatrical and non-theatrical) was not stated specifically. But the buzz is that it is nearly Rs 1,100 Cr.
The sheer money riding on 'Pushpa 2' is flabbergasting. This is truly going to be a historic release. From Amit Thadani to AGS Entertainment, from Mythri's Sashi to others, they have invested huge amounts on its theatrical release. So much is riding on Allu Arjun's superstardom and the Pushpa brand.
"The celebrations begin a day earlier. The fireworks at the box office will set off a day earlier. The records will be hunted down a day earlier. Pushpa Raj's Rule will begin a day earlier (sic)," Mythri Movie Makers said today, announcing the release date of 'Pushpa 2'.
