Sekhar Kammula has started prep work for his film that stars Varun Tej in the lead. His last filmy outing was Anamika that starred Nayanatara in the lead and the film was a remake of Vidya Bala starrer Kahaani.
The director is scouting for the leading lady of his next film. Sources say that he is impressed by Sai Pallavi’s acting skills. She was seen in Malayalam film Premam opposite Nivin Pauly. The director is of the opinion that this dusky beauty is a perfect match to the role of the Telangana girl in his film.
The film is a romantic story of a Telangana girl and Andhra boy settled in the US. Mickey J Meyer will score the music for this film which will be directed by Dil Raju.
