The trailer for 'Lakshya', starring Naga Shaurya in the lead, was today launched at the hands of 'Drushyam 2' actor Victory Venkatesh. The 'Varudu Kavalenu' actor plays an archer who is dragged down in the first phase of his career. After a humiliating setback, which has his lover (Ketika Sharma) suspecting his intentions, the hero makes a comeback, again.
Besides playing a chocolate boy, the hero has also donned a macho avatar in the movie. He sports an 8-pack-abs avatar in the second phase. Directed by Santhosh Jagarlapudi, the film has the 'Romantic' actress in a romantic role.
The sports drama will be released in theatres on December 10.
Bankrolled by Narayan Das K Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar, the film is based on ancient sport archery. Also featuring Jagapathi Babu and Sachin Khedekar, its music is by Kaala Bhairava.
