As was reported on Wednesday, the title of Dhanush's Telugu debut is 'SIR'. The film is titled 'Vaathi' in Tamil. To be shot from January 2022, the film purportedly has the male protagonist in an idealist role.
In the motion poster unveiled today, the 'Jagame Thandhiram' actor is described as a common man whose journey is ambitious. The story unfolds in the backdrop of a college.
GV Prakash Kumar, the talented composer, has been onboarded. Samyuktha Menon, who is currently romancing Rana Daggubati in 'Bheemla Nayak', is the female lead. 'Dialogue King' Sai Kumar and senior character artist Tanikella Bharani are also on board to play pivotal roles.
With editing by Navin Nooli, the film has cinematography by Dinesh Krishan and production design by Avinash Kolla. Presented by PDV Prasad, 'SIR' is produced jointly by S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas.
